River Terrace Healthcare is located in the picturesque countryside of Lancaster, Massachusetts. It is in this country setting that our interdisciplinary team works every day to provide a home for the patients and residents we serve.

We strive to preserve each individual’s dignity through respect and giving quality care to meet physical, cognitive, social and emotional needs. We also understand the importance of leisure pursuits and activities for our patients and residents, which is why we offer therapeutic activities seven days a week. Activities are offered in small and large group settings, as well as a one-on-one basis. There is plenty of variety, offering opportunities for physical activity, social events, community involvement and activities that promote a creative outlet.

Our center offers a Reflections Unit, certified in caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias. All staff that work in this Unit have received specialized training and all activities and programs are created specifically around the unique needs of those living with memory loss.
